About Shaina Jones
Shaina Jones is the principal attorney and founder of Jones Legal, P.C., a client centered law firm that specializes in business law, intellectual property, and estate planning. Shaina has a multi-state practice where she engages with her clients virtually and in person. Her philosophy is to partner with her clients to help them to build their legacy and to protect their legacy.
In her estate planning practice, Shaina expands her reach to other individuals and families. In addition to working with entrepreneurs, Shaina also specializes in working with blended families and families with young children. As a wife and stepmom, Shaina is able to understand the needs of business owners and families to protect and plan for wealth and prosperity for generations.
Shaina represents her clients with passion, compassion, and curiosity because she knows, first-hand, what they’re experiencing. She prides herself on being a true counselor at law and offering effective, efficient, and responsive legal services of the highest quality.
Shaina began her legal career as a civil and criminal trial attorney. She worked zealously to achieve the best outcome for clients. It was a trial attorney where she first honed her counseling skills. Representing clients at a time when something had gone wrong in their lives allowed Shaina to gain understanding and insight into changes that would have saved her clients from court. Shaina turned that hindsight into foresight when she transitioned away from representing clients at trial and instead helping them to business successful businesses. She carries that same planning foresight into her work with her estate planning clients.
Shaina earned her undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Regional Studies, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 2003. She earned her law degree from Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 2007. She earned her specialized Master of Law degree, an LL.M. in Intellectual Property, from Cardozo Law School at Yeshiva University in 2016.
