About Susan Polsinelli

As a sandwich-generation mom, supporting aging parents and nurturing two teenagers, I am passionate about estate planning for the entire lifecycle of families: protecting children, cultivating prosperity, and ensuring that elders can enjoy the third acts they want and deserve.

My expertise and life experience helps families like yours create comprehensive estate plans today to avoid conflict and expense tomorrow. I customize strategies for married couples with or without children, widows and widowers, nontraditional partners, and divorced or single individuals with or without children.

I graduated with my Juris Doctor from one of the top ten law schools in the country, the University of Virginia School of Law. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was awarded the prestigious Harry S. Truman Scholarship. I have a wealth of experience gleaned from positions in public service and the business community.

Among my professional experiences, I’ve worked as a prosecuting attorney at the Miami-Dade State’s Attorney’s Office and for Schenectady County, as a litigator for Dechert in Manhattan, as a trainer, consultant, and curriculum developer on topics like workplace investigations, misconduct, harassment, and discrimination. I also worked as the supervisor of a local municipality. I have also volunteered extensively in my local school district, coordinated food and clothing drives, and served on the board of directors for a local community foundation.

My husband and I moved to Niskayuna in 2003 to raise our children with our family. He grew up in Schenectady. I was raised in a suburb of Chicago. We have teenage boys and a dog with relentless puppy energy. She gets us out walking the streets each day and meeting our neighbors while the boys have us visiting hockey rinks all across the Eastern Seaboard.
