About Lorelei Lynch

As an attorney and licensed registered nurse, I dedicate 100% of my time to providing liability and asset protection for families and businesses in my community and beyond through a holistic, customized Plan that incorporates the financial, health, emotional, and family relationship-building needs of my clients. I began my career as an ICU registered nurse and later decided to attend law school. As an attorney, I represented plaintiffs and defendants in medical malpractice as well as nursing home cases. I also served at one of the largest law firms in Florida defending multi-million dollar companies. I quickly realized how much I missed caring for people on a one-to-one basis. That is when I decided to offer my legal services to small business owners and families who want to have their very own Personal and Business Attorney – for life. You can pick up the phone and call me with any legal question you have and if I cannot directly help you, I will know someone who can. Creating legal strategies to decrease your liability, protecting your assets, and building a legacy for your family are all very personal and confidential matters. Do you want to share these things with just anyone? Or with someone you get to know and TRUST? Do you want a Personal Attorney who is willing to take the time to build a relationship with you and your family and to truly understand your business? I will take the time to get to know you, your family, and your business so that I may fully understand your needs in order to provide the best, most cost-efficient legal services possible. Best of all, I do not bill hourly. My legal services are provided on a FLAT FEE basis and I offer memberships that will SAVE you MONEY. I have over twelve years of litigation experience. You will receive holistic, legal guidance based on federal, state, and local laws. Significantly, my legal guidance is also based on case law. The provisions in an estate plan or contract must be legally valid and enforceable, otherwise, it will fail. I have represented clients in court regarding contract interpretation related to provisions (not written by me) that were considered “standard” in the industry and have been used over and over again until a court held that these provisions were invalid and, therefore, the entire written agreement failed. Only a licensed ATTORNEY can provide these legal services. If you want to ensure your Plan will work, make sure the provisions have NOT been held invalid by a court with jurisdiction.

I earned my Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law and I am a member in good standing of The Florida Bar. I attended law school while raising my two young children as a single mother. During law school, I was one of three recipients to earn the highest grade in the Federal Pretrial and Elder Law courses. I competed in mock trial competitions advancing to the final round. Thereafter, I was awarded a legal internship at the U.S. Attorneys Office, Torts Division, a federal judicial externship at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and a state legal internship at Florida Gulfcoast Legal Services.

Prior to serving as an attorney, I graduated at the top 10% of my class, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Immediately upon graduation, I was awarded a competitive position among new graduates to serve in the Neuro-surgical ICU at Harper Hospital, Detroit, MI. I then went on to serve in the prestigious Cardiac ICU at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI, and worked with the Chief of Cardiology to develop Beaumont’s first cardiac IV stress lab. Most recently, I served in the Medical ICU at a tertiary hospital in Florida while also practicing as an attorney.

As an ICU registered nurse, I cared for incapacitated individuals on respiratory ventilators with multiple life-supporting IV medications and devices whose lives hung in a balance. During that time, I witnessed families suffer through these traumatic events while having to deal with the emotional complexities resulting from their loved ones not having a healthcare directive that worked or not designating an appropriate surrogate.

As an attorney, I have over twelve (12) years of litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous cases involving personal injury medical malpractice, and nursing home lawsuits from pre-suit litigation to trials resulting in jury verdicts. I served at one of the largest top-tier law firms in the state of Florida. My legal experience includes all phases of litigation from pre-suit and arguing evidentiary hearings related to arbitration contracts to cross-examination of an expert witness at jury trial. My healthcare background, attention to detail, and ability to articulate complex medical issues have served my clients well.

I recently served as general outside counsel for a rapidly growing biotech medical company directly advising the CEO and CFO on matters including, but not limited to, strategizing, intellectual property, business transactions, contracts, and human resources.

Having cared for critically ill patients, represented plaintiffs and defendants in medical malpractice in addition to nursing home cases, and provided one-to-one legal counseling to the CEO and CFO of a rapidly growing company, I am uniquely positioned to provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to decreasing your liability and protecting your assets so that you can build a legacy for your family. If you want someone who can provide LEGAL interpretation of your contract, create an Estate Plan with provisions that are valid and enforceable in court, and a legal strategy to protect your business assets from lawsuits, you need an attorney. If you want a holistic, legal approach to your Estate Planning and business strategies, I would be honored to serve you. Contact me for a FREE 15-minute consultation.
